My foods are turning out overcooked or undercooked. What’s wrong?

Check the wattage of your microwave. The microwave times in your instructions are based on a 1000 watt microwave, so you may need to use slightly more or less time.

My foods have big air bubbles in them after microwaving. How do I fix this?

Make sure you thoroughly mix the powder and water. If there are any clumps of powder, air bubbles can form. If you still encounter air bubbles, try adding slightly less water.

I ran out of food packets for my Sundae Maker/Soda Shoppe play set but want to make more Yummy Nummies. Do I have to buy another whole play set?

You can buy refill supplies at most retailers where play sets are sold.

How do I clean my Kitchen Magic Tray and utensils?

Hand wash your tray and utensils with warm soapy water before and after use. Do not place in the dishwasher.

What is the shelf life of Yummy Nummies mixes?

Yummy Nummies mixes are non-perishable. However, the “Best Before” date on each packet will tell you the time your foods will taste most fresh.

How do I get the Yummy Nummies commercial song out of my head?

The Yummy Nummies jingle is what scientists call an “earworm.” Unfortunately, no cure has been found for this condition yet. It may help to eat Yummy Nummies.

Are there any allergens in Yummy Nummies?

Specific allergen information can be found on the instruction sheets under “Allergen Information” or on the back of each package. However, all Yummy Nummies are made in a facility that processes wheat, milk, egg and soy.

We apologize that some of our very first mix packets were mislabeled, reading that peanuts and tree nuts are processed in the Yummy Nummies facility. This is incorrect. The error has since been fixed, but there is a chance you may find one of these mislabeled packets in your set. The Yummy Nummies facility does not process peanuts or nuts of any kind.

What are some tips and tricks to make my foods look better?

Right before microwaving a mixture, lightly tap the bottom of the tray on a table. This gets rid of air bubbles so your molds are completely filled.

To make foods needing refrigeration faster, try placing them in the freezer.

Having trouble removing food from a mold? Before removing a food, run a utensil along the edges to detach it from the sides of the tray.

To prevent sticking, try adding a tiny bit of cooking oil to the bottom of your Bakery Treats or Diner Delights tray before microwaving.

When making the Best Ever Burger, sometimes the cheese sticks to its paper sheet! If this happens to you, try dusting the paper sheet with cheese powder first, or add more powder to the mix.

The gummies are easiest to mix one color at a time! Mix one gummy mixture, fill an animal mold of your choice, and then mix your next color.
